What Babies Want

So we’re in line at Souplantation. Chloe spots a baby that is being held in her mommy’s arms standing right behind us in line. She says to me, “look mommy!! There’s a baby!”Then she proceeds to sing to the entirety of Souplantation what will no doubt be her next big hit, and it goes something like this:

“Babies want mommy juice
Babies want mommy juice
Babies want mommy juiceBabies don’t want daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddy juice

Babies want mommy juice”

Chloe conversations

A couple of conversations with Chloe and her daddy:

Conversation One

The scene: Daddy walks into the hallway. There is a juicebox sitting there in the middle of the hallway floor.

Daddy: CHLOE!!

Chloe: Yes.

Daddy: *points to the juicebox on the floor* What is this doing here?

Chloe: *looks down at the floor; notices nothing out of the ordinary* what?

Daddy: The juicebox on the floor. What is it doing here?

Chloe: . . . . It’s waiting for me.

Conversation Two

The scene: daddy and chloe are playing in the living room. They are both laughing hysterically and having a grand ol’ time.

Daddy: hahahaha. You are so goofy!

Chloe: hahah. You are SO Mickey!

Chloe Funny

So Chloe found Steven’s Zicam. She licked it and made a face. I told her that it’s daddy’s vitamins. And understanding dawned on her face and she said, “oh, that’s how you get hair on your forehead.”

Dr. Chloe

A visit to Dr. Chloe:Mommy: Mommy doesn’t feel good today, baby.

Dr. Chloe: Aw, mommy doesn’t feel good?

Mommy: No. Mommy’s head hurts *points to where it hurts*. Mommy’s nose hurts *points to where it hurts*. And mommy’s throat hurts *points to where it hurts*.

Dr. Chloe: Your head hurts?

Mommy: Yes.

Dr. Chloe: Your nose hurts?

Mommy: Yes.

Dr. Chloe: Your throat hurts?

Mommy: Yes.

Dr. Chloe: Does your feet hurt?

Mommy: No, my feet don’t hurt.

Dr. Chloe: Ha. Then what’s the matter with you?

Diagnosis: A Case of the Sillies

This past weekend Chloe developed a very extreme case of the sillies. We don’t know how or when it started. Warning: The sillies are extremely contagious. Symptoms of the sillies include, but is not limited to:

funny faces

increased energy

tons of egg hunting fun

and general cuteness

Being nearby a little one with the case of the sillies is contagious and can cause happiness, great belly laughs, and an all around good time.
